Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and growth-focused P&L Leader to head the Manufacturing Industry vertical, with particular emphasis on Process Industries such as Oil & Gas, Steel Manufacturing, Chemicals, and Energy.
This is a senior leadership role that requires a unique blend of sales excellence, industry depth, and strong understanding of digital transformation technologies—including AI, cloud, data & analytics, and enterprise solutions. The selected leader will drive strategic growth, lead high-impact pursuits, and deliver transformational outcomes for marquee clients.
Reporting To: Chief Strategy Officer (Global)
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Growth: Define and execute the vertical's growth strategy, capitalizing on emerging digital and industry trends.
- P&L Ownership: Drive overall revenue, profitability, and long-term business expansion for the manufacturing vertical.
- Sales Leadership: Lead enterprise sales efforts across the sector—prospecting, qualifying, structuring solutions, negotiating, and closing strategic deals.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and elevate a high-performing sales and consulting team to achieve and exceed annual targets.
- Client Leadership: Cultivate deep, trusted relationships with CXO-level stakeholders across major manufacturing and process industry clients.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with delivery, product, engineering, and strategy teams to create aligned go-to-market plans and ensure execution excellence.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of competitive dynamics, digital technology advancements, regulatory changes, and new market opportunities.
- Thought Leadership: Represent the organization in CXO forums, industry events, and strategic partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or related domains; MBA or advanced certifications preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in enterprise technology, platform sales, or digital transformation consulting.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing industry challenges—including supply chain, asset performance, operational efficiency, and sustainability.
- Proven experience selling large-scale digital, cloud, analytics, and AI-led transformation programs.
- Demonstrated success in closing multi-year enterprise contracts with public-sector entities and private-sector leaders.
- Strong track record of revenue ownership, pipeline discipline, and consistent achievement of sales targets.
- Ability to influence and engage CXO-level decision makers, shaping long-term strategic partnerships.
- Expertise in emerging technologies such as AI/ML, IoT, advanced analytics, and cloud infrastructure.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
- Experience working in or with process industries such as Oil & Gas, Steel, Chemicals, or Energy is highly desirable.
